BIN COLLECTION MONTHLY SCHEDULE

TOWN OF BOWDEN 2018 COMBINED ASSESSMENT & TAX NOTICE
Pursuant to Section 311 (1) of the Municipal Government Act, the 2018 Combined Assessment & Taxation Notices for the Town of Bowden will be mailed out Thursday May 17, 2018. Any property owner who does not receive his/her Combined Assessment & Taxation notice within a reasonable amount of time should contact the Town Office for a copy.

The Combined Assessment & Taxation notice contains important information regarding assessment appeal procedures. Appeals must be postmarked on or before Tuesday July 24, 2018 and must be accompanied by a $30.00 fee. This fee will be refunded if the appeal is successful.

The deadline for payment of 2018 taxes is June 30, 2018. If you require more information or have any questions about your assessment, please contact the Town Office at (403) 224-3395.

DOG LICENSES
All dogs in the Town of Bowden should now have a 2018 dog tag. Dog tags are priced as follows:

After January 31st
Spayed/neutered: $30.00
Intact: $40.00

All dogs over 3 months old are required to be licensed within one business day of arriving in Bowden.

Come to the Town of Bowden Office in December or January and receive 50% off of your 2018 Animal Licence(s). The cost to licence your dog or cat during December & January is $20 for an unaltered animal, or just $15 if your pet is spayed or neutered.

CAT TAGS
Cats are required to be licenced yearly with the Town of Bowden. The cost will be the same as Dog Licences with spayed or neutered cats costing $30.00 for the year and intact cats will cost $40.00 (after January 31st).

BUSINESS LICENSES
Business Licenses are now available at the Town Office. Due date: January 31st. Your Business License will be effective until December 31st of each year. All businesses operating in the Town of Bowden, including home-based businesses, must have a business license. Fees are as follows:

Resident Business License - $25.00
Non-Resident Business License - $100.00
